New John Carter Trailer Lands

'Let's see what he's able to...'We're approximately per week away now in the launch of John Carter, and also the real test for director Andrew Stanton and the crew: can the film succeed in the box office? Well, using the buzz-o-meter swinging a healthy diet for that "positive" side from the scale, Disney's marketing bots are mounting among the last large pushes, delivering a brand new trailer at Apple.If you have seen the previous trailers or clips, you will probably known what you are set for here: Taylor Kitsch's hero jumping a great deal, shouting a great deal and swinging weapons a great deal, while Lynn Collins looks hot in a variety of clothes and Mark Strong getting his best baldy scowl towards the table.As always using the Disney team's promotions, there is a small jerk to story, with Carter in that one being cautioned when he does not stop the fight on Barsoom, "Earth is going to be next." But mostly we see because he fights criminals and requires a rock to some Whitened Ape within an arena, which we wager implies that the American Humane Association won't be giving that one their stamp of approval. Whitened Apes are people too! Just really large. And hairy. And toothy.With Willem Dafoe (he's the avocado-hued, four-armed Tars Tarkas), Samantha Morton, Thomas Haden Chapel, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, Bryan Cranston and James Purefoy also within the mix, John Carter will leap into movie theaters on March 9.
