'Ground' breaking for Norris

Dean Norris has boarded the thriller "Frozen Ground" starring Nicolas Cage and John Cusack. Emmett Furla Films is financing and producing with Amber Entertainment. Pic centers on the investigation of serial killer Robert Hansen. Norris plays one of the state troopers investigating the murders. Scott Walker will helm from a script he wrote. Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing with Amber's Mark Ordesky and Jane Fleming. Envision and Curtis Jackson will exec produce. Pic is in production in Alaska. Norris is best known for his role as DEA agent Hank Schrader on the AMC skein "Breaking Bad." He is repped by Bauman, Redanty & Shaul and Industry Entertainment.
