Indian multiplex Glamour on expansion blitz
GOA -- Indian multiplex chain Glamour Movie theaters would be to add 28 screens by March 2013, parent company Stargaze Entertainment introduced Wednesday. Stargaze invested 750 million rupees ($145 million) within the expansion. The entire quantity of screens following the additions will number 50. "Our expansion plans are inline with this vision to provide worldwide motion picture experience to more compact metropolitan areas of India that do not have quality cinema infrastructure," stated Stargaze controlling director Sumant Bhargava. "The marketplace has huge growth potential with approaching retail infrastructure during these metropolitan areas, hopefully to sustain our current rate of growth as well as consolidate our market position by March 2013."
