Hey everyone!
So, I need help figuring out what type of Soprano voice I am. I sing
first Soprano although my range is E3 to E6. I can get a little bit
higher but with a lot of warming up and practice. I'm not quite sure
on my tessitura but it's probably around G3-A5. I've been singing in
choirs, musical theater, and show choirs my whole life and have had
some voice lessons. I have a darker timber voice than most sopranos
although I'm not nearly as rich vocally as a Wagnerian or dramatic
soprano. I'm very interested in singing more opera. So if anyone could
help me figure out what type of voice I have and what arias would be
best to practice than that would be very helpful. Also, if this might
help, the higher I sing the louder and more I project. I'm not those
type of sopranos that can easily sing very high notes softly. Thanks
